The Fight

These black and white images take us behind the scenes of the boxing world and attempt to build an original and unsuspected vision of this very hermetic environment.

The two-man fight turns into a confrontation with and against oneself. The violence fills the sculpted and tattooed bodies, but remains at the potential stage, absent from the exposed photographs, ready to explode in the spectator's imagination.

The intensity of this work successfully exceeds the clichés in vogue in this sport. And the consistency of this series of photographs succeeds in providing more intimate reading keys, referring as much to the boxers as to the author himself.
